August Favourites

Hello Beauty Lovers

This month I have been loving so many different products especially the ones for body care, skincare and haircare. During the summer I love staying at the beach, swimming, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Unfortunately as you probably know, wind, sun and salt water have damaging effects, so every time I go for my trip, I stock up on moisturising and regenerating products x

Yves Rocher Monoi de Tahiti Precious Dry Oil
This is no 1 of my favourites this month. It smells and looks amazing on your skin. It is an oil, so it is ideal for moisturising your skin after a long day on the beach. It is filled with shimmery pigments making you look like a Greek goddess. The smell of this oil is divine, very exotic and sweet. I am addicted *-*

This oil is paraben free and does not contain mineral oils, so you don't need to worry that you are applying too many chemicals on your skin. The only disadvantage is that there is no pump, so it is not as comfortable when using. Otherwise 10/10! (Available here £7.45)

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor
This was my saviour after my hair was so tangled that I was considering a major haircut. During 3 minutes it moisturises your hair, untangles it and makes it look healthy again. I have one rule with conditioners - Be Generous, especially when you can see that your hair is dry. I would apply the conditioner from the roots till the ends to nourish my hair and my scalp, then leave it for 3-5 minutes and wash it off. This conditioner is definitely one of the best conditioners I used, and I will be forever repurchasing *-* (Available here £4.99)

Kerastase Soleil CC Creme
I did not leave my apartment without this multipurpose product. It combines a variety of benefits such as nourishment, radiance and correction, so it is ideal for long days at the beach. This is a leave in treatment, so I applied it in the morning to protect my hair from the damaging effects of sun, and nourish them before exposure to the salt water. This CC creme also protects hair colour so it is perfect if you dye your hair. Definitely a beach must-have. (Available here £18.90)

Vichy Ideal Soleil Face Beautifying Sun Protection Compact SPF 30
I always have a dilemma whether to wear make-up to the beach and I usually never do as I don't want to expose my skin to the sun with products that are not created for sun exposure. When I found this compact my dilemma was solved. It covers all your skin imperfections, and it also has SPF 30 so your face is protected. Although it normally costs £18, it is quite efficient so it will definitely last during the summer. (Available here £10.80)

La Roche- Posay Thermal Spring Water
Thermal water is a product I take to the beach, or to the pool every year without fail. This year I took  thermal water from La Roche Posay as it was available in the 50ml size. I have sensitive skin, so I also knew that this product will not cause any irritation on my skin. This thermal water has soothing,  softening and antioxidant properties, and I can guarantee that it does. Whenever I used it, my skin felt refreshed and any irritation or redness from the sun were quickly soothed. This is not only a good product for summer, but a great handbag essential. (Available here £4.00)

Vichy Ideal Soleil Suncare Spray SPF 30
Everyone knows the pain of applying a thick, greasy sunscreen on your body, then waiting for 30 minutes so that it doesn't stain your clothes. This summer I only used spray on sunscreens as they are very easy and comfortable to use + are quickly absorbed into the skin. I really liked the Vichy spray as it had a delicate smell, and it did not leave any white sunscreen marks on the skin. I would definitely recommend using spray sunscreens as they just make beach life so much easier and enjoyable ;)

Ania's advice
1. Protect your skin from the sun
2. Take care of your skin
