Valley Mill Soaps Review

Hi Beautiful

About Valley Mill
Valley Mill is a Welsh brand selling a variety of handmade gifts and soaps. What attracted me to the brand is that the products are 100% natural, without any nasties. Those soaps are particularly good for people with problematic skin like eczema, dry skin or allergies as they are organic. This time I have for you two soaps that I received from Valley Mill to try out

Lavender & Citronella
This smells exactly like it is suppose to, you can smell the fresh lavender, and the strong Citronella. I must admit the scent is quite distinct, and the citronella smell prevails. I have dry skin so this soap was great to try as it nourished my skin and did not leave me with the itchy feeling. The lavender is also relaxing so it was perfect to use after a long day. I love the colours of the soap - the navy and the purple look so 'elegant' together!

Ingredients: Natural essential oils, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive oil, Palm oil, Castor oil, Lavender, Citronella & Activated Charcoal Cinnamon.

Grapefruit & Fennel
Let's start with its beautiful colours, it looks stunning on my bathroom shelf! I must say, I did prefer the scent of the lavender soap since I am not a big fan of fennel, but I imagine that if you like this ingredient this would be greatfor you. It was lovely to use in the shower, as the oils were quite nourishing so I could just get dressed and get going. Plus I did not get any skin allergies which is obviously a plus!

Ingredients: Natural essential oils, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive oil, Palm oil, Castor oil, Fennel, Grapefruit, Spinach, Cinnamon

Note
They both have a strong natural scent so if you like gentle scents you should try them before buying. Although the smell is quite strong it does not stay on your skin for long after you use it!

Price for each is £4. They are available on Valley Mill Website

Overall impressions
Lovely products, I liked the soaps, especially since they are 100% natural and made with finest essential oils. They are also SLS and Paraben free which are the two ingredients I try to exclude from my beauty routine. Most importantly, the products are ethical and therefore not tested on animals.  The packaging is recyclable so the brand is really focused on being ethical, eco-friendly. And finally they are handmade and very pretty *-*
