Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Review

Hello Everyone!

I hope February is going well for you and are finding some time to relax, detox and fulfil your 2016 resolutions. Lately I have been focusing on wellness, healthy eating and exercise and I can honestly feel the difference. I wake up rested, full of energy and ready for the day, even if I sleep 7 hours. While focusing on healthy lifestyle, I also wanted to focus on skincare and beauty routine. Being a fan of Aurelia Probiotic Skincare, I have been sent to try the Cell Revitalise Night Cream and Refine and Polish Miracle Balm, and once again, Aurelia did not disappoint me!

About Aurelia Probiotic Skincare

The brand uses ingredients which are ethically sourced with 100% BioOrganic botanical formulations. The products help to manage the level of inflammation within the skin, which is one of the causes of skin ageing. The brand promises to protect skin against ageing, regenerates cell metabolism, prevents cellular DNA damage, boosts hyaluronic acid by 19 times and increases collagen synthesis by 140%.

Cell Revitalise Night Cream
The Cell Revitalise Night Cream is formulated using probiotic and peptide technologies. It contains plant as well as flower essences which hydrate and soothe dehydrated skin, Baobab which is rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9, firming Kigali Africana and antioxidant Hibiscus and Shea butter. It also contains oils, such as Borage oil which is known for locking in moisture and Mongongo oil high in vitamin E content.

First thing that caught my attention was the smell. I find the smell of skincare products very important as my skincare routine is my favourite 'me' time when no one disturbs me so I am always using products which either have no scent or smell divine. The scent of Cell Revitalise Night Cream is very luxurious, featuring a blend of Neroli, Lavender, Rose and Mandarin, but the most prominent notes are Neroli and Mandarin.

I applied the cream overnight, massaging it in circular motions on my face and neck. It has a lovely creamy texture, which melts into your skin, surrounding your senses with the gorgeous scent. It is very hydrating, and I woke up with a nourished, glowing complexion with no breakouts at all. I have dry skin, and finding the hydrating cream is always a challenge, but this one is the best one I tried so far, so I am definitely going to purchase a full size after this one runs out. (Cell Revitalise Night Cream is available on Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Website, £42)

Refine and Polish Miracle Balm
This is a milt-use enzyme polish which aims to transform and brighter dull and lacklustre complexions. Like the night cream it also contains the signature and probiotic complexes to balance an protect the skin.

This balm can be used either as a face mask or as a face scrub. I loved using it as a mask, as it contains plant enzymes which exfoliate the skin, removing the dead skin cells. The scrub contains natural rice bran refining beads which gently exfoliated the skin. I used it 1-2 times a week, massaging it in and breathing in the blend of essential oils of Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Bergamot (Same as in Miracle Cleanser from December Favourites!) Exfoliation is very important as it boosts circulation, brightens the skin and ensures smooth skin, which is important for achieving the perfect make-up look as well.

It can also be used as a mask to deeply exfoliate the skin, smoothing the surface of the skin. The best way to use it, it to apply a layer on a cleansed face and leave it on for 5 minutes, letting the plant enzymes work add few drops of water and massage it into your skin to boost circulation. I used this mask once a week and I could see an improvement in the appearance of my skin, it was clearer and I noticed reduction in breakouts as well. I am a fan of multipurpose products so I really liked this Refine and Polish Miracle balm, it smelt amazing, worked amazing and looks beautiful as well. Refine and Polish Balm is available of Aurelia Probiotic Skincare website, £57)
